Black Friday

Another black Friday has come and gone. This day comes right after the day we are supposed to be thankful for what we have. We seem to have a funny way of being thankful, standing in line waiting for the stores to open so we can save a few bucks. Save compared to what? The mayhem, rudeness and the trampling of store clerks to death is not a very good way for us to show our thanks. All to save a dollar that more than likely is borrowed, it isn't even yours.

I understand looking for good deals, but not at the expense of others. We wonder why the economy is in the shape it is in? We look for the cheapest most inexpensive things to buy and wait for them to go on sale. We do this for a variety of reasons but mainly because we have alot less money and the reason we have alot less money is we shop like it is Black Friday everyday. When we do this our own manufacturing jobs leave America for the sake of survival.

We buy things for bottom dollar and expect to get paid top wages. To off set this difference we go get credit and then all of a sudden we can buy alot more cheap stuff. We tend to focus on the price of things instead of the cost. What good is a cheap car if it is always at the fix it shop.

Here is an example of what thing's cost. You shop for and buy everything you can at the best possible Price saving your self a few dollars here and there. Then one of your community organizations ( school, ball team, etc....) needs to raise some money. When you reach out to your local merchants for help you find they can't help. Why? Because YOU found a better deal elsewhere. You may buy things at a good price but what do they cost you? We haven't even talked about lead based paint on toys or Tainted milk.

When you purchase things think of the benefits beyond the price. The price of an item is determined at the time of purchase. The cost of an item can last a generation.

It has been said
" A Good Deal to the consumer is what they Percieve it to be".

Our economy and the way we do business is in a massive transition it will never be like it use to be. We all need to do things different than we use to. If we continue to Shop like it is Black Friday and borrow money to do it the cost is not worth the price.

When I buy things I really consider two things..its benefits and of course price...Consider your Needs not your wants...great insight!

Nice content of your blog Sir but you have to improve the theme, maybe you can have three column layout theme because you have a lot of going on in your sidebar. Take care!

Good content. Thanks. I had some problems concentrating on the text with much going on in the sides - or is it just Friday evening and I'm knackered!

Very important thought that we should be conscious of our buying behaviour. This was we shan't be slaves of marketeers.
